As I'm beginning another semester, it's time for another roundup!

All in all, it's not nearly as impressive a list as last summer's. Still, the summer it summarizes was one of the best of my life!

Live shows I saw this summer:
- A Midsummer Night's Dream put on by the New York City Ballet Company
- Tin Pan Alley Rag, an Off-Broadway show
- The Pajama Game put on by a local 4th-8th grade theater company
- West Side Story put on by a local theater company
- The Merchant of Venice put on by Shakespeare Orange County
Other things I did this summer:
- Lazed around
- Worked a bit for my mom
- Got to meet people from
sounis and
athanarel !
- Visited my grandma
- Went to New York for a week-long History Scholars program focusing on Abraham Lincoln
- Had an absolute blast working at a summer camp for seven weeks (eight if you include orientation)
- Had an all-too-short reunion with some good friends I met while in Spain last fall, who flew in from as far as Spain to be there
- Spent almost two weeks with my family in beautiful Hawaii (Oahu and Maui)
- Celebrated my 21st birthday early with family, and got a GPS unit for my car from my aunts, a blender and a George Foreman Grill from my parents, and a movie and a shirt from my sister Stephanie
All in all, it's not nearly as impressive a list as last summer's. Still, the summer it summarizes was one of the best of my life!
