Camp Name!

So, as I said in my last post, I'm going to be working at a camp this summer! At this camp, all the children's staff members have "camp names" that the kids call them by instead of their real names.  For example, some of the other staff members this year are Sandpiper, Tiger Lily, June Bug, Moonbeam, Cardinal, Timber, and Avalanche. At any rate, this means I need to come up with an outdoorsy name in the next week or so. Anyone have ideas?

In other news, Sing Alliance Formal was today.  As always, it was a ton of fun!  Although I didn't get a chance to hem my dress, so even though I wore my highest heels, I still kept tripping on it whenever I tried to dance...

Pine cone! Haha sorry that was the first thing that came to my mind. :)

Hey, Pine Cone could be a possibility!

Outdoorsy, huh? I was thinking you could do something Sartorias-deles-related, but I guess those wouldn't quite work...

To mix things up a bit, you could take a name that was an adverb or adjective instead of a noun (e.g., "Loudly," "Quicker," "Silently,") or a verb, even (well, maybe gerund..., e.g. "disappeared," "rustling," etc.)

Fun ideas! And I bet I could actually get away with something related to Sartorias-deles, as long as it also sounded related to earth's nature (like "Starliss" or "Queensblossom" or "Snowstone").

All of those sound beautiful--I like Starliss especially.

Ember--on account of campfires. :)
Hope you have fun at camp!

Thanks! "Ember" is a good idea.

There are always bird names: Heron, Lark, Grackle .. . .

I'm sure that there's something water-related, but everything I can come up with doesn't sound like a name (or at least, not a name you would want to have).

Ooh, I like "Lark" and "Grackle". As for water-related, hm... maybe something like "Dewdrop" or "River"?

Of the names suggested so far I like Ember, River, and Starliss.

Other water names can be Brook, Raindrop, Sea Foam.

Other names...Briar Rose :P, Moss, Fern, Ivy, Evergreen, Dawn, Sunshine (sunshine dancingstar :P), Misty, Redwood, Hawk, Eagle, Raven, Sparrow...

Ooh, there's some fun ones there! I like "Sea Foam" especially.

The person who's going to be switching off jobs with me every other week is actually "Firefly"! I like "Magnolia" and "Dragonfly", though. :)
